The design retains the vintage aesthetic of the original F-100, blended with contemporary elements
We love vintage-inspired vehicles that blend classic aesthetics with modern performance. What’s not to love?
Here are three of our favorites:
Unveiled at the 2021 SEMA Show, the Ford F-100 Eluminator is a modern, electric reinterpretation of the classic 1978 Ford F-100 pickup truck.
This concept showcases Ford‘s commitment to electrification while paying homage to its automotive heritage.
It features Ford Performance’s Eluminator electric motor, producing 480 horsepower and 634 lb-ft of torque.
The design retains the vintage aesthetic of the original F-100, blended with contemporary elements like LED lighting and a clean, minimalist interior.
Featuring round headlights, a throwback to the original Jeep design, and a retro-themed interior with vintage stitching and analog dials, the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Retro Edition by AEV balances the best of both worlds.
The combination of old-school charm and new-age technology means this brand-new pickup looks like a classic pickup from decades past.
We particularly like the white wheels which are a nod to rally cars that have them because they’re easier to inspect for any cracks.
The resurgence of retro designs is epitomized by legacy brands bringing out models such as the Ford F-150 Heritage Edition.
This truck pays homage to the early generations of Ford trucks from the 1970s with its two-tone paint schemes, reminiscent of the good old days.
The bold color contrasts, paired with basic ruggedness, it evokes a sense of timeless Americana, appealing to those who appreciate the combination of history and innovation.
